Designed for Spectrum(TM) 100 and 400 spectrometers, General Purpose Optical Bench accessory offers flexibility for laboratories performing advanced or specialized applications that are difficult to perform using base instrument's standard sample compartment. Unit attaches to side of baseplate, leaving standard sample compartment open for normal operation. Accessory can accommodate extra-large or specialized sampling systems such as cryostats, high-vacuum chambers, and specialized detectors.

PerkinElmer Introduces General Purpose Optical Bench Accessory
PerkinElmer today introduced its General Purpose Optical Bench (GPOB) accessory for the Spectrum(TM) 100 and 400 spectrometers. The accessory is designed to offer flexibility for laboratories performing more advanced or specialized applications that are difficult to perform using the base instrument's standard sample compartment.
Because it attaches to the right side of the Spectrum baseplate, the GPOB increases efficiency by leaving the standard sample compartment of the instrument open for normal operation, while providing a second position for an additional accessory to be permanently attached to the instrument.
The GPOB can accommodate extra-large or specialized sampling systems such as cryostats, high-vacuum chambers, and specialized detectors.
The Spectrum 100 and 400 spectrometers offer laboratories quality analysis for routine method development in addition to the flexibility to be used in more advanced industrial and research applications.
