Product is offered in non-reinforced version for wall and ceiling installations as well as reinforced version for installations that require hanging or mounting with grommets. With STC rating of 27, product is tear-resistant, but can be cut with utility knife.

This mass is what allows the Audioseal Barrier to be so effective at reducing airborne noise from transmitting into your space or inside noise transmitting out of your space. Audioseal is commonly used in new construction and also to correct noise problems in existing spaces. Audioseal Sound Barrier is available in a non-reinforced version for wall and ceiling installations and a reinforced version for installations that require hanging or mounting with grommets.
