Solvent strips powder coating masking plugs.June 27, 2005 -
Suited for use on wide range of materials including silicone and neoprene, D-Zolve removes several layers of build-up from self-threading to dual-flanged pull plugs. When used in immersion tank, product's properties lift layers of paint and break chemical bond between powder coating and substrate. Paint layers pull away from surface and fall to bottom of tank.

Strip Don't Scrap Powder Coating Masking Plugs
D-Zolve from Solvent Kleene, Inc. removes powder coating buildup from plugs, and other standard or custom molded maskings, extending the useful live of these devices and reducing replacement costs. Designed to safely remove powder coatings from a wide range of materials such as silicone and neoprene, D-Zolve efficiently removes several layers of buildup from self-threading to dual-flanged pull plugs.
When used in an immersion tank, D-Zolve's special properties lift layers of paint and break the chemical bond between the powder coating and the substrate. When this bond breaks, the paint layers pull away from the surface and fall to the bottom of the tank.
To further facilitate the stripping process, Solvent Kleene also offers Kleeneze 404 which forms a mono-molecular film on new or stripped masking devices. This film inhibits the bond between the powder coating and the substrate so buildups can be removed more easily and quickly.
D-Zolve is available in either a 5-gallon trial sized container or a 55-gallon drum. For additional information contact Solvent Kleene; 119 Foster St, Bldg 6.; Peabody, MA 01960; Tel (978) 531-2279; Fax (978) 532-9304; e-mail sales@solventkleene.com; www.solventkleene.com.
