September 6, 2010 - Models 2206 and 2207 solid flanged reaction torquemeters are stationary instruments that measure static and dynamic torque of rotating and non-rotating drivelines. Available torque ranges are from 300,000-750,000 lbf-in., with either ±2 mV/V or ±10 V output, and all units are calibrated CW and CCW to rated load. They are suited for industrial torque measurement and control applications including valve actuators, servo valves, hydraulic motors, and stepper motors.

High Capacity Reaction Torquemeters Carry NIST Calibration

Chicago, Illinois USA New models 2206 and 2207 solid flanged reaction torquemeters from S. Himmelstein offer certified accuracy. Their high stiffness and ability to handle large extraneous loads (thrust and bending) minimizes crosstalk errors.

These stationary instruments accurately measure static and dynamic torque of rotating and non-rotating drivelines. The 2206-2207 units are expected to find wide use in industrial torque measurement and control applications including use for valve actuators, servo valves, hydraulic motors and stepper motors.

Available torque ranges are from 300,000 to 750,000 lbf-in., with either ±2 mV/V or ±10V output. All units are calibrated CW and CCW to rated load in S. Himmelstein's NVLAP*accredited laboratory (NVLAP Lab Code 200487-0). A NVLAP approved Calibration Certificate documents NIST traceability.

Reaction torquemeters are an economical solution where inline measurements are required but where angular motion is restricted and cycle rates are low.

S. Himmelstein manufactures a full line of shaft, spline, flange, pulley, wheel and reaction torquemeters, and other torque measuring instruments.
