THINBIT® MICROBIT® tools meet all small diameter tooling requirements, including ID or face grooving, boring/turning, and threading. With profiling capabilities down to 0.125 in. min bore, products let users cut intricate ID forms that require fine detail. Tools come in 1/8, 3/16, ¼, 5/16, 3/8, and ½ in. shank dia with respective neck lengths of 0.375, 0.625, 0.750, 1.00, 1.250, and 1.750 in. TiN, TiAlN, and Diamond coatings are available.

THINBIT®, manufactured by Kaiser Tool Company, is pleased to announce an expansion to our MICROBIT® solid carbide tools to include small bore profiling down to 0.125" minimum bore. This addition compliments our existing MICROBIT® tooling line and is now capable of meeting all small diameter tooling requirements including ID or face grooving, boring/turning and threading.
The profiling tools will allow our customers to cut intricate ID forms that require finer detail than can be achieved with a standard boring or grooving tool. These tools will be available in 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" shank diameters, with neck lengths of 0.375", 0.625", 0.750", 1.00", 1.250" and 1.750" respectively. All these tools are available with a variety of coatings including TiN, TiAlN and Diamond.
