May 24, 2011 - Made of 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance, ASCO Harsh Environment Valves are available with 0.55 or 1.30 W coils as well as pressure ratings from 0-150 psi. Units feature high flow construction with 1.1 Cv pressure port and 1.4 Cv exhaust port. Offered in direct acting and pilot operated models with ¼ in. NPT, valves are suited for control panels in offshore applications as well as solar panels and PLC/DCS applications.

ASCO Introduces Harsh Environment Valves


Direct Acting and Pilot Operated Harsh Environment 316L Stainless Steel Externals ¼" NPT now available

FLORHAM PARK, NEW JERSEY, USA - ASCO Numatics, the world's leading manufacturer of comprehensive fluid automation, flow control, and pneumatics solutions, has introduced a new and improved line of ASCO Harsh Environment Valves. This series is designed for use in harsh and hazardous locations, including control panels in offshore applications such as oil platforms where the environment is extremely hot, humid, and corrosive. The new solenoid valve series is also ideal for use with solar panels and PLC/DCS applications where low power consumption is required. The New Harsh Environment valves are made out of 316L Stainless Steel material for maximum corrosion resistance and are available with 0.55 or 1.30 watt coils, as well as high flow and quick exhaust constructions, with pressure ranting ranging from 0 to 150 PSI.
