May 16, 2002 - Model MT-76K, with MT-76 Microtorch, combines butane-powered microtorch, soldering iron, and flameless heat tool. Built-in, refillable fuel tank has fuel capacity of 120 minutes on full charge. Removable stand allows tool to be hand held or used on tabletop. Kit also includes hot knife tip, shrink attachment, polyfoam cutter, 5 in. wire cutter, 5 in. needle nose pliers, 60/40 solder, and sponge, packed in plastic case.

A "trigger" ignition switch with "pulldown" lock conforms to the Consumer Products Safety commission's new Child Safety Requirements.
