Buildium Ups the Ante for Online Property Management Software

Boston, MA -- March 29, 2007 -- Buildium, LLC announced today that it has released the next-generation of its popular online property management software, answering the call of thousands of landlords and property managers looking for an easy-to-use, online solution that saves them time and money. Prior to releasing the new platform, Buildium interviewed dozens of landlords and property managers to better understand what people were looking for. Chief among them was an easy-to-use, double-entry accounting system tailored to the needs of condo and homeowner associations, landlords and professional property managers.

"What we heard over and over again was that people liked QuickBooks, but wanted something designed specifically with property management in mind," said Michael Monteiro, partner and co-founder of Buildium LLC. "They knew they needed something more, but many felt stuck because competing online property management software was either too hard to use and too expensive or too basic offering little more than income and expense tracking."

The result is Buildium's next generation of online property management software designed to meet the needs of small to mid-sized landlords and professional property managers. Other new features include the following:

o Support for cash or accrual-based accounting with the new, easy-to-use Accounting Center
o A new, industry-specific chart of accounts with the ability to create new accounts
o Ability to attach electronic images of checks, invoices and receipts to individual transactions
o New financial reports including the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Balance Sheet, General Ledger and Trial Balance
o Ability to save reports as PDF or Microsoft Excel
o Ability to print professional looking tenant/homeowner statements directly from the ledger
o A streamlined way of moving in tenants and homeowners using the new Move In Wizard
o A faster way to pay rental owners and bills by check or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Buildium offers a free, 15-day trial of its online property management software at www.buildium.com. With no long-term commitments or contracts, Buildium has plans starting at just $9.99 per month for landlords with up to 5 rental units to $174.99 a month for portfolios of up to 650 units. Customers with larger portfolios can call 888-414-1988 for custom pricing.

Targeted editions for specific customers
Unlike other property management software that takes a one-size fits all approach, Buildium offers three online property management software editions targeted to the specific needs of professional property managers, landlords and self-managed condo and homeowner associations.

Property Manager Edition(TM)
Whether managing a portfolio of rental properties, condo associations or both, Buildium Property Manager Edition helps professional property managers work smarter by streamlining maintenance requests, work orders, rent and maintenance fee collections, tenant/homeowner receivables, payables, and more. Completely online with no software to install, Property Manager Edition gives property management firms the edge they need to stand out from the crowd.

Landlord Edition(TM)
Buildium Landlord Edition helps landlords manage all their properties in one place, whether they own just a few rentals or hundreds. Also online with no software to install, Landlord Edition helps landlords rent vacant units, track leases, collect rent online, monitor delinquencies, and more.

Association Edition(TM)
Designed for self-managed condo and homeowner associations (HOAs), Buildium Association Edition helps associations create budgets, track spending, collect maintenance fees online, track repair and maintenance records and more from any computer connected online.

Buildium, LLC was founded in 2003 by a seasoned team of veterans with nearly 20 years of experience delivering technology solutions to Global 2000 companies, and over 10 years of experience managing rental properties. For further details, visit www.buildium.com or call 888-414-1988.
