October 24, 2008 - Single Click Entry v1.5 combines imaging, full-text OCR, and data capture and analyzes text and extracts metadata using OCR software. Users can transfer information into Windows applications or online forms by clicking through associated fields. Information is then available for indexing, routing, collaboration, and workflow in SharePoint Server 2007 or Captaris Workflow(TM). It supports TIFF, JPEG, and PDF, with integrated support for Excel, SAP® Windows forms, and Web forms.

Desktop application simplifies, speeds data transfer to support business process automation

BELLEVUE, Wash., Oct. 14 / / - Captaris, Inc. Single Click Entry 1.5 simplifies and speeds transfer of metadata into software applications.

While manual entry or cut-and-paste methods delay processing, Single Click Entry populates line of business applications instantly, preparing files for action.

For cost effective data transfer, the Single Click Entry desktop application packs imaging, full-text optical character recognition (OCR), and data capture into an easy-to-use interface. Single Click Entry analyzes text and extracts metadata using OCR software. Users then transfer the information into Microsoft Windows applications or Web forms by clicking through the associated fields. Single Click Entry supports TIFF, JPEG and PDF and offers integrated support for Microsoft Excel, SAP® Windows forms and Web Forms.

Efficient data transfer serves as a launch pad for business process automation. Information populated and saved to applications or Web forms is available for indexing, routing, collaboration and workflow, including single line workflow in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 or advanced multilayered tasks using Captaris Workflow(TM).
