Intalio Releases Intalio|BPM 6.0

BPMS Integrates Wide Array of Application Engines, Optimizes for Cloud Computing

PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 19 -- Intalio, Inc., The Private Cloud Company, today announced the release of Intalio|BPM 6.0, which provides customers an integrated platform for managing the most complex business processes, while optimizing for deployment in a cloud computing environment. This new release includes a collection of application engines such as a Business Rules Engine, a Document Engine, and a User Interface Engine, which memory footprints have been significantly reduced in order to support their cost-effective deployment on top of virtualization infrastructure such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.

The new application engines provide easier ways to create complex processes and workflows that can be used to increase customer satisfaction or decrease production costs. Business users can now create complex business rules using Decision Tables, which rely on a familiar spreadsheet metaphor. These rules can then be invoked by the process at any point in time, giving greater control to process owners and lessening the dependency on IT staff. Intalio|AJAX allows developers to create powerful forms that can streamline processes from the end user perspective, while Intalio|ECM and Intalio|Portal integrate business functionality required for online collaboration and for managing the complex flow of information throughout the enterprise.

Servicio de Rentas Internas, the Internal Revenue Service of Ecuador, relies on Intalio|BPM 6.0 to register citizens for online self-help, and provide timely answers to their tax-related questions. "Intalio|BPM 6.0 provides us with a more complete, more powerful, and more user friendly BPM platform," commented Ivan Noboa, the System Architect National Manager. "It was definitely worth the wait!"

Latinus, Intalio's Value Added Reseller partner in Ecuador, was responsible for implementing the SRI project. "Working with Intalio gives us a strategic competitive advantage in the markets we serve," stated Raul Rivas, Sub-Gerente General for Latinus. "The new version of Intalio|BPM allowed us to develop the SRI project faster, while giving our customer the tools they need to provide excellent service to their constituents."

"Intalio|BPM 6.0 gives us the foundation to build a truly unique Platform as a Service layer as part of our Private Cloud Computing offering," explained Ismael Ghalimi, Intalio CEO and co-founder. "Its components are natively architected for deployment on top of a virtualization infrastructure, which is the most scalable and cost-effective way to provide multi-tenancy for large private clouds. Intalio|BPM 6.0 prefigures the next generation of cloud-enabled BPM systems, which will bring the power of Business Process Management to all users in the organization, on demand, and with the highest levels of security, confidentiality, and control."

Intalio|BPM 6.0 is now certified on over 300 combinations of hardware, operating systems, application servers, and databases -- the most widely certified BPMS in the industry. For more information, please visit the Latest Release page on our website.
