O&O DiskRecovery can now recognize and recover over 350 different file types. In addition, the brand new built-in preview function for image and text files allows users to examine their files before they recover them.

BERLIN, Feb. 9 / -- O&O DiskRecovery V4.0 is the newest addition to Berlin-based O&O Software's line of professional-grade "Tools for Windows." This user-friendly data recovery tool can rescue data even when directory and structural information have been damaged or deleted. Using specially designed processes, this software will find damaged files and attempt to reconstruct them in a valid file format. This new generation of O&O DiskRecovery with its new and improved functionality presents both private and corporate users a powerful software tool for rescuing important data presumed to be lost.

Additional user-defined file signatures can also be manually defined, meaning that users can instruct O&O DiskRecovery to scan for virtually any type of file. Even exotic file types can be recovered by O&O DiskRecovery.

O&O InstantDiskRecovery allows for the use of the software in an emergency without any prior installation, enabling users to avoid irreparable data loss due to the initial installation of the software.
