o Context Sensitivity - Several new features provide users with a more context-sensitive experience:
o Linked Documents delivers a highly personalized experience as users navigate through or "drill through" their data by directly passing context sensitive information from one document to another. Clarity 6.2 now supports any number of "drill paths" from a single data point into any number of other data sources including other OLAP data, source ERP data, and data warehouses. This means different users can follow their own desired drill path from any data point.
o Commentary Roll Up dynamically provides a manager with a summary of every user's textual notes along any number of business hierarchies including the organization hierarchy, product hierarchy, and customer hierarchy. This helps managers understand the thinking that went into developing the consolidated budget, plan or forecast. Managers can also, at their discretion, view all the attached notes in full detail.
o Online Cascade enhances the online analytical capabilities of Clarity 6. Now a single mouse click launches multiple iterations of the same report letting users view different perspectives of the same information.
o Advanced Navigation - Clarity 6.2 users can leverage several new sophisticated navigational tools. Users focus on the level of information that they need with new row/column expand/collapse functionality. Right-click actions let users launch tasks that are context sensitive based on the current cursor position. And tab management lets users manage all of their open documents as a group, creating a more efficient end-user experience.
