Pittsburgh, September 28 - Westinghouse Electric Company, one of the four major business units of British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL), has announced the development of version 3.1.0, of its StatePointPlus® software suite, a product of its Core Technologies group. StatePointPlus is the first proactive strategic systems integrity controller that enables secure enterprise-wide monitoring, management, and repair of thousands of computers from remote locations.
StatePointPlus® is a unique (patent pending) product that enables system and security administrators to remotely control the attributes of every software object in every computer on a
network to a specified baseline, or state. The control strategies can be an automated mixture of global standards, local requirements and adaptive system-specific states. The product can be implemented rapidly across large numbers of computers and creates very little network traffic. It has no hardware or server requirements and maintains a very small product footprint.
