RemoteScan makes it possible for users of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software to scan directly into any medical document management or EMR software package which is hosted on Citrix(R) or Windows Terminal Services servers. In addition to TWAIN redirection, RemoteScan software also provides lossless-data compression, user customizable templates for consistent scanner settings across an entire network enterprise, the ability to share a single scanner with other Terminal Services or Citrix users, asset administration, and flawless scanner connectivity with virtually any TWAIN or WIA scanner on the market.
New customer volume pricing for RemoteScan for medical use has been reduced to $5,000 for a 50-user license. Individual licenses are also available directly from the RemoteScan web site at http://www.remote-scan.com/ as well as from the company's resellers and partners.
New features in RemoteScan include faster data throughput speeds, improved user templates for controlling scanner features of ID scanners, and a license administration system.
