Software provides on-screen virtual keyboard.

January 4, 2008 - With Comfort On-Screen Keyboard v2.1, mouse pointer is used to type on virtual keyboard. When key on on-screen keyboard is pressed using right mouse button, upper case is used, and when middle mouse button is pressed, application emulates key press in combination with Ctrl. Program includes language bar in form of floating semi-transparent window, alternative key names for German and French languages, and language interfaces in Arabic, Greek, Czech, Swedish, and Ukrainian.

Comfort Software Group announces release of version 2.1 of Comfort Keyboard!

Comfort On-Screen Keyboard is an application displaying a unique virtual keyboard on the screen and allowing you use the mouse pointer to type the way you do it with the regular keyboard.

What is new:
o Sounds added.
o Added a floating window for starting the on-screen keyboard.
o Added a language bar in the form of a floating semi-transparent window.
o Added new keyboard types: NumPad, MultimediaSmall, Diamonds, Circles, UMPC.
o Added alternative key names for the German and French languages.
o If the background of the on-screen keyboard has been changed to transparent, its borders are not displayed (useful for UMPC).
o When Shift is pressed on the NumPad of the on-screen keyboard, the real key actions are shown.
o Added new interface languages: Arabic, Greek, Czech, Swedish, Ukrainian.
o When a key on the on-screen keyboard is pressed using the right mouse button, upper case is used.
o When a key on the on-screen keyboard is pressed using the middle mouse button, the application emulates a key press in combination with Ctrl.
o Clicking the right mouse button within the on-screen keyboard while editing it will add another point with the cursor coordinates to the currently edited key.
o The registration system has been improved.

Comfort On-Screen Keyboard v. 2.1 runs under Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista and costs $11.95 (USD). The trial version of the program, hosting all the functionality of the full version, can be downloaded free of charge at http://comfort-software.com/download/
