MAYNARD, Mass., Dec. 18 /-- Generate Inc. today announced a major release of Generate g2(TM), the company's on-demand business intelligence application. Version 3.0 includes Generate's g2 Toolbar, a feature that incorporates Generate gClick(TM) technology -- the one-click technology that enables users to scan any browser-driven page to extract contextual sales intelligence, in seconds, without having to log in to the Generate g2 application. This latest release, available immediately, extends the power of Generate g2 to the Web-enabling sales and business development professionals to instantly gather intelligence that is contextual to their needs-from any HTML page.
Generate's g2 Toolbar scans any Web page to give users a single, personalized view of aggregated sales intelligence -- in-depth company and executive profiles, relevant news and trigger (event) information -- including how they connect to each company and executive via relationship-mapping (social networking) technology. With version 3.0, users are now able to identify and connect to qualified opportunities in one of two ways: (1) by setting up customized watch lists with the on-demand application -- allowing users to receive alerts notifying them of new activities in real time at targeted accounts or (2) when reading an HTML page such as a news article, CRM system, intranet application, or e-mail.
According to the 2007 Sales Performance Optimization survey results conducted by CSO Insights, companies that make sales intelligence easily accessible are able to move prospects further down the buying path at least half the time and increase a win rate of forecasted deals to 55.1%.
