Entropysoft, The ECM Connectivity Leader, Releases a New Microsoft Exchange Web Storage Connector

EntropySoft, the leading connectors factory for Content Management Systems, announces the addition of a Microsoft Exchange Web Storage connector to its portfolio. By making available yet another connector, EntropySoft is once again working towards simple, normalized access to all content repositories. This connector is yet another indication of EntropySoft's successful drive for easy content access.

EntropySoft's Microsoft Exchange Web Storage connector is fully bidirectional. It has read / write capacities for all Exchange objects such as mails, posts, contacts, meetings, events, tasks. The connector can access user mailboxes as well as public folders.

Says Nicolas Maquaire, EntropySoft CEO, "This connector is a very good example of our long-standing commitment to easy content access and interoperability. Extensive access to e-mail is a vital concern for various markets such as Enterprise Search, e-discovery or DLP. By making this connector available via the WebDAV protocol, we increase the choice of non-Windows platforms, such as Linux, that can be used to access Exchange servers. Our OEM partners and their customers will benefit directly from this increased technological flexibility. By releasing this connector, we are further consolidating our market-leading position for Enterprise Content Systems connectivity."

EntropySoft is a connectors' factory. All EntropySoft connectors are written in Java, and are also accessible via .NET and web services. The extensive support of features of CMS applications by the connectors, as well as their sheer number, make them perfect OEM material for many software industries. Already, leading global companies such as Endeca, Coveo, Kazeon, or IDS Scheer are using EntropySoft connectors and technology.

The Microsoft Exchange Web Storage connector is part of EntropySoft's connectors' portfolio, which consists of more than 30 connectors, the biggest offering of connectors on the market. Recently developed connectors include HP TRIM, Oracle UCM, IBM WebSphere Portal Document Manager, IBM Content Manager and Interwoven WorkSite. The plug-and-play EntropySoft connectors list includes major applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum, FileNET P8, Open Text LiveLink, Interwoven TeamSite etc...

On top of the read / write connectors, EntropySoft has two technological layers (Content ETL and Content Federation) that can also be OEM'ed to facilitate integration and interoperability.

EntropySoft's strategy is to work on the completeness of features supported by each connector as well as developing multiple connectors for the same application in order to best satisfy customers' functional and technical constraints.

EntropySoft's OEM clients have specific requests for their specific markets. This means that the connectors have to support the widest range of functionalities. The state-of-the-art connectors therefore help customers focus on their differentiators, allowing them to concentrate on their core business while EntropySoft takes care of the connectivity.

EntropySoft is the content-centric applications interoperability leader.
