XATA Ships XATANET 4.3
Upgraded XATANET software delivers enhancements for improved fleet operations visibility and control.
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 13 / / - XATA Corporation (NASDAQ:XATA) today announced the release of the next version of its on-demand fleet operations software. The new features and enhanced tools in XATANET 4.3 give fleet managers a clearer view of the day-to-day operations of their fleets to improve vehicle utilization and performance. This release also delivers enhanced mapping capabilities and customer-defined reporting.

- Two new reports, a Driver Fuel Analysis Summary report and Fleet Utilization Summary report, which provide management easy access to important fleet data.
- Additional Point of Delivery (POD) functionality that delivers both POD and XATANET on a single, handheld device.
- New dashboard option that allows XATANET users to view idle time during a route, excluding all other non-trip time. This new reporting option allows fleet managers to monitor the driver's impact on vehicle idling.
- Four new Smart Checks and Exceptions, which help gauge actual-vs.- planned leg time and stop time.
- Enhanced data-capture, which provides fleet managers increased visibility on fuel economy changes.
