Supporting AutoCAD DWG and DXF files, Pocket PC CAD Viewer can be installed on any pocket PC or PDA with Windows Mobile operating system. Functions include zooming in and out, dragging images, viewing different layouts of currently opened drawing, and rotating image with 3D orbit tool. CAD Import .NET for Compact Framework SDK contains all classes used in Pocket PC CAD Viewer and additional classes that offer access to CAD entities. Source code is written on C#.NET.

CADSoftTools Released Two New Products
Pocket PC CAD Viewer - a compact viewer of DWG and DXF files;
CAD Import .NET for Compact Framework - a library that can be used by software developers for creating their own applications.
The CAD viewer can be installed on any pocket PC or PDA with Windows Mobile operating system. To run the application the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 has to be installed on the device too. After installing the Pocket PC CAD viewer its icon appears in the Programs window of the portable device
The application is started by single click on the icon. After this any CAD file stored on the storage card of the pocket PC can be opened through the File menu
The Pocket PC CAD Viewer offers following functions: zooming in and zooming out CAD images, dragging the CAD images, switching a background color between black and white, viewing different layouts of a currently opened CAD drawing, rotating a CAD image with the 3D orbit tool
The Pocket PC CAD Viewer supports the DXF and DWG versions starting from AutoCAD 10 and up to AutoCAD 2006. In combination with all its functions the Pocket PC CAD Viewer represents a nice and convenient tool for viewing CAD files on the way. It can be used by the construction and other engineers in the field where desktop computers can't be used and notebooks are considered too bulky.
CAD Import. NET for Compact Framework represents an SDK for software developers. It contains all classes used in the Pocket PC CAD Viewer and additional classes that provide an access to the CAD entities. The source code of the library is written on C#.NET and the library can be used by the code written on any language represented in Visual Studio .NET. It can find a wide use in the software community.
