Informative Graphics Announces Net-It Central 7.0

Net-It® Central 7.0 Makes Document Sharing and Finding Information Easy

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona - December 7, 2006 - Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in content visualization, secure publishing and collaboration technology announced today the release of Net-It® Central 7.0. Net-It Central automatically indexes and publishes documents and provides an easy, web-based interface for users to find and view content.

Net-It Central makes finding and sharing documents-policies and procedures, reports, job postings, manuals and more-easy and convenient. Users simply save documents to a monitored directory using the source application, like Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, and Net-It Central detects and converts the new or updated file to PDF, Flash or CDL as part of a content searchable document library. Net-It Central is simple and has full interoperability with other intranet and/or portal solutions.

The Net-It Central 7.0 release improves publishing performance (2X faster), fidelity, and the overall user experience. The Net-It Central server has a new interface and features that make document sites easier to set up and manage. The included viewer is now based on IGC's popular Brava! products, adding new features and enhancing usability. Customers who use Net-It Central for releasing policy and procedures will benefit from the "I have read this" indicator, which tracks who has read each new policy document. Also included in the 7.0 package are the improved Subscribe (to folder) and Approval (before publishing) plug-ins.

Net-It Central v7 now includes support for IGC's Content Sealed Format (CSF) with Visual Rights content security controls. Users can now create secure, CSF renditions of their documents (similar to PDF) using the free Net-It Now tool and contribute them to Net-It Central. This allows more secure, controlled access to document information. Or use IGC's Brava! products to redact (block out information) documents, save to either PDF or CSF and contribute them to the document site.

"Net-It Central helps users find enterprise information faster so they waste less time searching for documents," said Gary Heath, President and CEO at IGC. "Because it automatically detects new or updated document files, indexes them and publishes to non-editable renditions, it makes intranet access to released documents really easy and fast," he added.
