Arrow ECS Releases Enhanced N/Compass Software for Accounting, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management
ENGLEWOOD, C.O. - Nov. 4, 2008 - Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics Inc. [NYSE: ARW], released a new version of its proprietary N/Compass software to help small- and mid-sized businesses better manage their sales and operations. N/Compass Version 11 features modifications for improved business flexibility, efficiency and accuracy.
Developed in 1988, the N/Compass software features 10 applications to support a wide range of business activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, billing/order entry, inventory, purchasing, payroll, personnel and menu security. The software is used by casinos, hotels, accounting firms, health care, grocery stores and consumer goods manufacturers, among others. It is capable of maintaining and managing data on nearly 1,000 different companies; 10,000 different departments; and 100 earnings or deduction codes per employee.
N/Compass works exclusively on the IBM Power i platform. The applications integrate fully with one another or can run independently.
N/Compass Version 11 includes additional customization features, automated posting data and enhanced general ledger account balance listings. All applications have improved support and functionality.
