The Planner provides both visual and text approaches to the complex task of producing working schedules in planning and resource environments where many orders are processed at once. It combines the visual features and impact of a manual planning board with the speed, utility and smarts of a sophisticated workstation. The Planner can run stand-alone or in a network environment with a primary scheduler and multiple viewers.
New features include full support for MS Windows XP, with ODBC installs for use with Crystal reports now also automatic with XP. Easy identification of Work Order links with improved highlighting of linked Work Orders. Quick 'right hand click' for displaying linked Works, and to edit Work Orders. Run extract from main system on Unix, then Import work directly from a Unix partition made vailable to Windows with products such as SCO VisionFS, Samba, etc. Improved handling of moves and pushes of Work Orders with operations having multiple passes on same resource.
