IBM Rational Method Composer V7.0: The Next Evolution of the IBM Rational Unified Process Software Development
Rational® Method Composer is the next evolution of the Rational Unified Process® (RUP®) and represents a quantum leap forward in delivering a process solution that goes beyond software development. It is a flexible process platform built on top of Eclipse technology providing process authoring, configuration, and publishing capabilities.
Rational Method Composer adds new best practices to RUP that leverage the IBM expertise in portfolio management, collaborative distributed development, and Service-oriented Architectures (SOAs). It will help deliver customized yet consistent process guidance to your project teams and IT organization. It aligns and integrates IT processes with Project and Portfolio Management processes and tooling.
Rational Method Composer is the next version of the Rational Unified Process product. Rational Unified Process, IBM Team Unifying Platform® and Rational Suites customers that are up to date with maintenance are entitled to upgrade Rational Unified Process to Rational Method Composer.
