Innovative Engineering and Training Software for Mobile Equipment Design and Service

Montreal based Famic Technologies Inc. announces the release of Automation Studio V5.1. Automation Studio is a unique circuit design, simulation, and project documentation software package that meets the needs of engineers, trainers and service personnel. Automation Studio plays a key role in design, training and troubleshooting for any mobile hydraulic and controls systems applications. By implementing schematics in Automation Studio, users greatly improve the engineering process and can quickly cut down on the costs of deploying technical information at all levels.

By simply dragging and dropping symbols from its extensive symbol libraries, users can quickly create projects from simple to complex and show the system behavior by means of dynamic and realistic simulation. As opposed to traditional CAD software, the simulation allows users to validate designs and perform training on systems. Once a circuit is drawn, the simulation mode shows valves shifting positions, cylinders move, switches status change, etc. Fluid lines change color to indicate fluid pressure status and plotter functions can be added to monitor various elements such as speed, acceleration, flow, position, display trends and store numerical data. All components can be sized in the preferred unit system in order to influence the simulation and show accurate results. Animated cross-sections are also provided to assist in training applications. Automation Studio further provides tools to implement proportional hydraulic applications. Users can further make their own symbols libraries quickly and customize reporting information and export projects to DXF file format.

In summary, with all the added and improved features and functionalities, Automation Studio remains the best, most user-friendly and affordable tool for design, simulation, and training.
