Perception 5.0 Released - Latest Version of Class Leading Data Acquisition and Analysis Software

Perception 5.0 adds one-click Microsoft WordŽ output, Trace markers and User tables to make it even easier to get the reports users need in the formats that they want. In addition, the level of report-writing automation has been increased to allow users of the Nicolet Genesis and Liberty data acquisition systems more time to concentrate on test setup and data analysis.

With the new Trace Markers, users can mark points or areas of interest in each dataset. Even better, these markers can be automated based on search or calculation functions, so saving users time by generating fully automated and annotated test results immediately.

User tables can be created to display any number of test results in a Microsoft ExcelŽ alike fashion. The tables can become part of the reports or can be transferred to MS WordŽ or MS ExcelŽ on a single button click.

The MS WordŽ reporting feature enables users to prepare multi-page MS WordŽ templates and merge them with any Perception objects such as Displays, User or Cursor tables, text annotation, mathematical results or graphics at predefined "Bookmark" positions - even automatically.

And for all kind of physical measurements, the renewed Bridge Wizard and the Basic-Sensor amplifier mode allow to set up experiments with multi channel bridge configurations, balancing and shunt calibration in seconds rather than hours.

There are many addition benefits and a wider range of features as well, so that the new Perception 5.0 - more than ever before - backs up the Nicolet approach to offer high end DAQ solutions "from sensor to report - out of the box".

Perception 5.0 controls the Nicolet Liberty and Genesis DAQ systems, is used to playback data from the new dual-domain Dimension DSA/DAQ system and the Sigma data recorder, and also supports legacy products like Vision and BE256 / MultiPro transient recorders.
