Enviance Introduces New Citations and Permits Management Capabilities, Other Features, in Latest Release

Customer-driven enhancements include new editing, calculation and task management features and a streamlined user interface

CARLSBAD, Calif., May 4 / -- Enviance, the leading provider of Internet-based, on demand systems for the management of environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance activities, announced the release of groundbreaking System enhancements and new capabilities in Version 5.0. Because Enviance is offered on demand, these extensive enhancements were released "overnight," allowing customers to immediately avail themselves of the new functionality without the need for messy maintenance or upgrade activities.

Among the most significant enhancements in this latest release is the addition of the master citation/permit management tool set. Designed to allow users to easily manage regulatory citations and permit conditions from one central location, the intuitive folder structure mimics administrative code. In addition, the System provides fields to store audit questions and other items critical to the compliance workflow.

Other System enhancements include:

o Global editing, providing users the ability to manage and change multiple System components (such as equipment or individual regulatory requirements and tasks) simultaneously, including regulatory limits, calculation formulae, templates and document associations

o Bulk data entry, allowing users to search for, select and enter data for numerous obligations, across System components

o New task management tools that allow users to bulk edit task assignees, assignors, schedules and notifications at once

o Enhanced calculation functions for better trend analysis and scenario planning

o Enhanced materials and chemicals functionality, which improve speciated calculations such as TRI thresholds and releases, hazardous air pollutant (HAP) emissions, and tanks emissions

o Streamlined user interface, which mimics the visual logic of Microsoft Windows file structure, facilitating use of system model trees and search and display functionality.

"Our customers drove the vast innovations delivered in Version 5.0. In our 'software as a service' model, we touch our customers every day, and they reward us by providing us with detailed information on what they want in the way of future innovation," said Lawrence Goldenhersh, President and CEO, Enviance. "Because we deliver our solution over the Internet, from one code base, we can drive innovation at a fraction of the cost and time required for traditional enterprise software companies, who must worry about implementation of their releases across thousands of computers in hundreds of locations. In contrast, Enviance Version 5.0 was released over a weekend, delivered the features that the customers had asked for, and was simultaneously available for use by all of our customers on Monday morning."
