Integrated Barcoding Systems Introduces QuikTrac® 5.1

New Software Solution Extends I Series Applications to the Warehouse or Shop Floor Without Any Host Modifications

Adrian, Michigan - October 3, 2003 - Integrated Barcoding Systems (IBS), a leading solutions provider of data collection technology and services, today announced the release of QuikTrac® 5.1. The new screen integration tool allows I Series users to extend their ERP/MRP applications out to their warehouse or shop floor without modifications to their existing host code or interfacing into their system's database.

QuikTrac 5.1 allows AS 400 users to take their existing I Series applications and map them down to a wireless fixed or portable data collection device. This functionality enables users to interact with their ERP/MRP software from a remote location in real-time, without costly and long-term modifications to the host. QuikTrac 5.1's new Off Line Data Collection module allows users to continue to collect and store data while the connection or host is down.

The QuikTrac 5.1 software suite consists of the following modules:

· I Series Development Module - allows users to take their I Series screens and map them to a number of portable data collection devices including LAN and WAN devices. The Development module takes the best of QuikTrac 5.0 and adds new features like Searching, Scrolling, SQL interface for non I Series screens or applications, and Grouping of users on a project. It allows users to add functionality to their applications without writing additional code. This enables users to cost-effectively customize and modify their applications without incurring unnecessary programming fees.

· I Series Interface - is a server application that controls the communication between the I Series and the scanning devices. Within the I Series interface is the new SQL interface that allows users to go outside of the I Series application and call, perform, create a calculation or interface with an ODBC compliant database without creating custom RPG programs.

· QuikTrac Manager - allows users to control, setup, monitor, and maintain their data collection projects from any remote location. The QuikTrac 5.0 Manager gives users an additional level of security over and above their existing I Series applications. Its built-in functionality enables users to control user sign ins and which group or class they are assigned to, which project users can work with the system as well as limit the menu options authorized users are able to see.

· QuikTrac Off Line Module - allows users to collect and store data while the connection or host is down. When the connection or the host becomes available, the data is then sent up to the host and processed. All of the processing can be done manually or thru automatic interfacing with the host so there is no human input required.

Integrated Barcoding Systems data collection solutions are designed to provide users of ERP and MRP systems with the fastest, simplest and most cost-effective tools to automate their data collection process. QuikTrac has successful installations into MAPICS, BPCS, J.D. Edwards, PRMS, JobScope, System 21, CMS, and AS/400 legacy systems. Integrated Barcoding Systems is headquartered at 1801 West US 223, Suite 115, Adrian, MI 49221.
