SHAPE Services to Release RDM+ Web Service
Enabling Remote Access and Support
STUTTGART, Germany, Aug. 14 /- The company has announced today the release of RDM+ (http://www.rdmplus.com/), a remote access solution with web service support that allows easy and secure access to home or office PC from other remote desktops or mobile devices. Regardless of the web browser, regardless of the location -- PC is accessible from any computer, be it a hotel business center, airport, library or just a wait in a traffic jam. The application lets its users read and send emails, manage files and folders, work with other programs and network resources remotely no matter where they are.
One installation on home or office PC will give users full access to this computer from any remote location. The application is particularly useful for system managers and administrators and IT directors, in which case RDM+ desktop may be installed on as many computers as are needed for remote accessing. The company offers a free trial for those who wish to learn more and a one-time license fee with free upgrades.
This announcement follows two releases: RDM+ version 3.5 with Windows Vista support and RDM+ client for Windows Mobile. At present RDM+ covers a wide range of most popular mobile devices, including BlackBerry handhelds, Java and Symbian phones, Windows Mobile and now web service for remote PC access. "We want to target a broad market of users and hope that these releases accomplish the goal.
