Xtenit Offers Alerting System for Corporate Business Intelligence

NEW YORK, Jan. 10 /-- Xtenit, an application service provider, announced today the release of the Xtenit Alerting System. The Alerting System, an extension to Xtenit's existing communication platform, will allow organizations to create and centrally manage customizable real-time business intelligence systems. (www.xtenit.com)

The high performance Alerting System provides corporations with a centrally managed application that processes news and other content items from thousands of sources each day and delivers individualized real-time alerts to subscribers. Corporate knowledge officers and administrators can centrally control content, alerting criteria and other parameters to assure employees are efficiently informed. Advanced tracking and reporting is also available to monitor effectiveness.

Each subscriber can customize their own alert criteria based on any number of parameters or content specific criteria. Unlike competing products the Xtenit Alerting System does not rely on keyword indexing and matching. Using Xtenit's patented filtering technology, subscribers may specify complex criteria for selecting the information that is most important to them. The result is a more refined set of alerts without redundant or irrelevant information.

"There is a need in all companies to be more proactive in keeping employees informed of news and events of competitors, prospects, and customers," said Brian McFadden CEO of Xtenit. "The problem though for most companies is that there is not a centralized and customizable system for managing this process, and these companies cannot be sure that employees are always getting the right news efficiently."

The Alerting System is available as a hosted solution with per seat and packaged pricing.
