JACKSONVILLE, FL Software602 announces Print2PDF 8.0, a complete end-to-end PDF conversion solution. This new version allows PDF creation in many different ways to simplify document conversion deployment in organizations. Users can create an Adobe PDF from any application that can print, process multiple documents for batch conversion, watch a folder or POP3 e-mail account for documents, use a simple web application, or integrate web service into their existing infrastructure.
Print2PDF's simple Save As dialog with pre-configured profiles provides an easy, one-click way to create a standard Adobe PDF document, long term archive standard ISO 19005-1 PDF/A file (PDF/A-1a, PDF/A-1b), or pre-press graphics exchange ISO 15930-1 PDF/X file.
New features in version 8.0 include: PDF attachment support, enhanced profile only mode, JPEG 2000 image compression, RibbonX toolbar support for Microsoft Word 2007 and Excel 2007, PDF/A-1a support, PDF/X support, redesigned Windows Service for automated conversion, web application for conversion from a web browser, SOAP web service support and more. The new multi-language support includes Czech, English, German, French, and Turkish. Other languages will follow shortly.
Print2PDF 8.0 provides users with the ability to create, merge, and sign PDF documents using a digital signature from the Windows Certificate Store, while retaining control over document changes and content extraction using 128-bit RC4 PDF security permissions. Administrators can setup default settings and custom profiles to control exactly how PDF files are created within their organization and distribute the software through a prepared client installation or through a network shareable printer. Organizations can further reduce administration costs by centralizing PDF creation on Terminal Services, Citrix Presentation Server or automate PDF conversion through the web, e-mail or watched folders.
