Popular online scheduling system for auto dealership service departments continues bold enhancement schedule

The new @utoScheduler, with its robust features and increased flexibility, makes it even easier for dealership customers to schedule their appointments online, according to Les Hall, Knowledge Architect for @utoRevenue.
"In the past months, over 100,000 service appointments were made by customers online and surprisingly 60% of those occurred during normal business hours. Obviously, customers appreciate being able to do their own scheduling and would just assume do it online than call the dealership," said Hall.
@utoScheduler 2.0, designed with the customer in mind, gives dealerships the control they need to keep work flowing through their service departments. With @utoScheduler 2.0, service advisors can control the appointment books by the hour and within the hour to prevent overcrowding in the dealership's waiting room. The product also allows them to manage the number of appointments booked by waiting customers.
@utoScheduler 2.0 also helps the dealership's service department and advisors control loaners and rentals by the day of the week, helps control loaner vehicle allocation, and speeds up customer drop off of vehicles for service. The new Customer Drop Off feature identifies the times a customer can drop off a vehicle and lets customers print drop off forms that include customer and vehicle information, an advisor's name and a list of service work needed.
"No other appointment scheduling system in the industry provides the level of flexibility and control that @utoScheduler 2.0 offers," said Hall, who has developed service software used by thousands of automobile dealers in the U.S., Mexico and the UK.
"Because @utoScheduler integrates with @utoRevenue's emails, direct mail and voice messages, a dealership can send customers reminders of service their vehicles need and see direct results. In the email, a customer can click on a link to view their vehicle information and instantly make a service appointment. Current dealership customers do not have to waste time inputting information the dealer already has on file," Hall said.
