Postini Announces Integrated Message Management for Lotus Users
Company Extends Leading Suite of Integrated Email and IM Security Solutions to Serve Notes/Domino Customers
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 23 -- Postini, the global leader in Integrated Message Management (IMM), today announced the availability of its full suite of IMM services for Notes/Domino customers, providing security, archiving, compliance and directory sync for email and instant messaging.
Postini's IMM offering is a suite of message security and compliance services that extends Postini's offering beyond email security to provide a framework for managing, securing, and ensuring compliance of email and instant messaging communications.

Postini's Archive Manager provides a secure, scalable, and affordable archiving solution for email and IM designed to address operational, regulatory and business compliance requirements. The service provides immutable storage for the secure retention of messages, based on specific policies or requirements. Archive manager also eases any discovery or litigation support requirements, with a powerful and flexible query engine, intuitive interface, and the ability to seamlessly export data for delivery to third parties. Postini makes managing data "holds" easy and seamless. With this announcement, Postini adds the capability to journal intradomain traffic via the Domino journaling interface.
Directory Sync, part of Postini's Perimeter Manager service, synchronizes with the corporate directory server to collect a list of authorized users and their associated aliases. In order to ensure effective and real-time synchronization with corporate directory infrastructure, Postini has extended support of its DSML-compliant directory synchronization solution to include all versions of Domino. As changes are made to the Domino infrastructure, they are reflected automatically in the Postini system.
