Inference Data Introduces Version 4.0 of Its E-Discovery Analytics & Review Platform

Inference Data Introduces Version 4.0 of Its E-Discovery Analytics & Review Platform

New dynamic concept searching, user-defined data organization and auto-identification represent leap forward in applying E-Discovery analytics

NEW YORK, Jan. 27 -- eDiscovery technology innovator Inference Data today announced a significant expansion of its advanced analytics and review toolset with the release of Inference 4.0. Leveraging the platform's powerful analytics engine, Inference has enhanced its capabilities to deliver new dynamic conceptual searching and user-driven case organization tools that greatly improve discovery investigation, analysis, prioritization and review. With these latest enhancements, Inference continues to meet the increasing demands placed on law firms and corporations engaged in large-scale litigation.

Inference version 4.0 enhancements are available immediately and include the following:

Dynamic Concept Searching - This enhancement to Inference's search capabilities allows users to quickly gain valuable insight into their data. Searching directly from Inference's home screen, users can conceptually search across all the documents or on a defined set of documents and quickly identify similar concepts found across the population.

Concept Suggest - Particularly effective for meet-and-confer preparation and government second request, Inference's Concept Suggest offers users conceptual search recommendations to help guide search and review, thus speeding prioritization, investigation and analysis of entire datasets while saving significant time and cost.

Query Refinement - Inference's Query Refinement provides users with the ability to flexibly customize workflow through complete database segregation. With Query Refinement, both users and administrators can automatically refine queries, categorizing and organizing datasets according to specific case parameters and needs.

Data Classification Options - Inference has integrated language, near de-duplication and email thread classification options into its data upload process. The new classifications can be performed on any data type and can be executed according to the needs of the matter. Adding these options to the upload process saves significant time and augments Inference's analytics capabilities by identifying more than 60 languages, expanding the system's near duplicate identification, and improving email threading and mapping features. While many other eDiscovery providers have not yet incorporated these capabilities into standard procedure and must outsource to other vendors, Inference offers classification options as part of its upload process.

According to Inference Data President Nicholas Croce, "We listen to our clients and understand where their greatest pain points are. As datasets continue to grow and cases become more complex, advanced analytics and customizable workflow capabilities have become an imperative. Attorneys and litigation support professionals need to be able to run and control their review. Inference's user-driven capabilities provide them with the tools to address the most complicated and time pressured challenges in today's large-scale legal matters. With the addition of these new features, Inference is leading the way into a third dimension of concept analytics and legal review."

Inference will be demonstrating version 4.0 at Legal Tech New York, booth # 1307, February 2-4 at the Hilton NY.
