(www.TeamF1.com), the leader in embedded networking and security software, today announced its Managed Access Point Solution (MAPS), a new comprehensive turnkey software package that combines the latest 802.11 wireless standards with fieldproven networking and security components.
MAPS is the latest member of TeamF1's SMBware(TM) platform, a line of production-ready software solutions geared specifically to OEMs/ODMs serving the small-to-medium business (SMB) segment.
MAPS enables OEMs/ODMs to deliver leading-edge Wi-Fi® devices such as business-class wireless gateways, broadband access points (APs)/routers and hot-spot infrastructure nodes.
MAPS provides OEMs/ODMs a complete solution for building secure, managed access points while dramatically reducing development cost, risk, and time to market. Availability
TeamF1's Managed Access Point Solution is now available under flexible licensing terms including a source code license and a variety of production license (royalty) options. MAPS supports multiple CPU types of either endian-ness, including PowerPC, MIPS, X86, and ARM/Xscale; and includes reference drivers that permit OEMs/ODMs to utilize a broad range of Wi-Fi chipsets.
