Available with full, flat, or serrated ball point ends, Steel Socket Set Screws have black oxide finish and balls of hardened steel. Full ball point version is used in applications where ball point contact is required, while flat faced moveable ball allows clamping or supporting of non-parallel surfaces. Socket set screws with safety twist ball are designed so flat faced ball cannot twist more than 9°, allowing full clamping of flat faced ball at all times.
