December 7, 2010 - To facilitate routing over, under, and through confined spaces, Parflex XDH Hose is shaped to fit routing path of application and snaps into place. Design eliminates risk of damage and accelerates installation. Suited for hydraulic applications, hose operates in temperatures from -65 to +300°F. Max operating pressures are 4,000 psi for 3/8 and ½ in. IDs and 5,000 psi for ¼ in. ID.

New Formed eXtreme Duty Hose "Snaps" into Place


Ravenna, OH - Parflex XDH Hose, from Parker Hannifin, is the latest innovation in hose design to help customers route hoses over, under, and through confined spaces. XDH hoses (eXtreme Duty Hoses) are shaped to fit the design of your application. Typically, routing hoses around abrasion points and through tight spaces requires operators to twist and bend hoses to fit, often creating a tangled nest of hose routings. The XDH hose is formed to fit the routing path and quickly "snaps" into place, eliminating the risk of damage and speeding up the installation process.

XDH is ideal for repeatable hydraulic applications and are an effective way to eliminate hard metal tubes, which are difficult to install, heavy, and take up warehouse/freight space. It is available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" I.D. and operates in temperatures ranging from -65°F to +300°F. The maximum operating pressure is 4000psi (3/8" and 1/2" ID) and 5000psi (1/4" ID).
