Bridgeport Fittings, Inc. Snap-In Connector Re-Introduction

Bridgeport Fittings announces the reintroduction of its patented Whipper-Snap® Connectors for AC/MC and MCI-A cable. These snap-in fittings are part of Bridgeport's Mighty-B(TM) line of innovative time and labor savings products.

Bridgeport is free to market and sell the Whipper-Snap® connector line without any recourse from Arlington Industries, Inc., now that Arlington's '050 patent expired on December 4, 2011. "The ongoing litigation will be resolved successfully in time and will have no adverse affect on Bridgeport's operations or the ability to sell its products," said Del Auray, CEO.

The Whipper-Snap® Connector line offers a number of customer-friendly advantages including time and labor savings through a unique quick-install design and ease of removal and reusability. "There has been a great deal of pent up demand from our customer base for our snap-in products," said Paul Suzio, President/COO, "We offer a unique quick install solution, and what we feel is a better alternative for our customers."

The Whipper-Snap® connector line includes straight and 90 degree versions. They are available in a number of single and duplex configurations to meet a variety of customer preferences and applications. A new U-shaped strap-type duplex SG3838ASP version is now being introduced.

The Whipper-Snap® Connector products are covered by over a dozen of Bridgeport's own patents, the oldest of which expires in 2025. Bridgeport remains committed to providing the industry with its independently developed and patented alternative snap-in fittings.

Bridgeport Fittings is a leading supplier of quality fittings to the industrial, commercial and residential channels of the electrical industry.
