Streamline Your Event: The Next Generation in Event Payment Processing Technology has Arrived
MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 1 // -- Event Payment Services, LLC has launched the next wave in event payment processing technology with the ePSPay(SM) SmartCard application. This revolutionary technology helps both for-profit and non-profit event planners streamline registration, purchasing, and post-event financial processes.
"We have been working with non-profits for many years and we've seen the need for this technology," said Paul McConville, President of Event Payment Services. "Typically, on the night of an event, it's chaotic -- with long lines and too much of the volunteers' time spent scrambling to meet everyone's needs. ePSPay(SM) allows event coordinators to easily streamline these processes and maximize donations by collaborating with gala and event management software."
Planners can make the most of the experience for event patrons by minimizing time spent waiting in registration lines. With the swipe of a credit card through an ePSPay(SM) portable terminal, donors are assigned a bidder number that allows them to make purchases freely throughout the event until they are ready to check out.
"At a 2006 Rotary Club event in Washington State, volunteers spent over eight hours just entering credit card numbers. With ePSPay(SM), this can be done at pre-registration in just a few seconds," said McConville. "Our technology allows volunteers to be more involved in the event, rather than having to focus on registration and coordinating donor information."
ePSPay(SM) SmartCard terminals function independently so they don't have to be linked together or to a computer via cables. The SmartCard captures each donor's bidder information from each terminal and transfers it to a computer via a SmartCard reader. The reader is compatible with most current event-management software applications. The ePSPay(SM) technology meets and is certified in accordance with VISA/MasterCard Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP).
ePSPay(SM) is available for purchase, rental, or lease-to-own through Event Payment Services, LLC. For more information, visit http://www.eventpaymentservices.com/ or call 612-767-5969.
