USB 2.0 compatible cards are used in building entry, network logon, digital signature, email encryption, single sign on, and transaction processing applications. EMV 200 Terminal Level 1 compliant and CCID compatible units read and write ISO 7816 cards, and support PC/SC, CT-API, and OCF interfaces.

Cherry Introduces Two New Stand-Alone Smart Card Readers

Cherry Electrical Products introduces two new stand-alone smart card readers for network security applications; the ST-1210 smart card contact reader and the ST-1275 dual smart card reader for contact and contactless cards. Both models are USB 2.0 compatible and feature a durable, stable design for one-hand operation. Typical applications include building entry, network logon, digital signature, e-mail encryption, single sign on (SSO) and transaction processing.

The ST-1210 and ST-1275 Smart Terminals are EMV 200 Terminal Level 1 compliant and CCID compatible. They read and write all ISO 7816 cards and support PC/SC, CT-API and OCF interfaces. The ST-1275 model also features a short-range contactless card reader that supports ISO 14443A/B and is ICAO compliant.

Both models are available in light grey or black and measure 4.13" X 2.76" X 0.47". They offer a 2 year warranty.
