Comprised of XO, VCXO, and TCXO options, 508-series comes in 9 x 14 package and incorporates rugged 4-point mount crystal that suits low G-sensitivity military, industrial, and other harsh environment applications. Crystal oscillator (XO) PX-508 and voltage-controlled XO VX-508 feature stability range of ±40 ppm from -55 to +105°C and ±15 ppm from -20 to +70°C. Temperature-compensated XO (TCXO) TX-508 offers stability range of ±0.8 ppm from -40 to +85°C and ±0.28 ppm from -20 to +70°C.

Vectron International Announces Smallest Low G-Sensitivity Oscillators for Military and Harsh Environment Applications
ITAR Free 508-Series Includes XO, VCXO and TCXO Options in 9x14 Packages
MUNICH, GERMANY - Vectron International, a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of Precision Frequency Control and Timing Solutions, today announced its new 508-series of small, low G-sensitivity clocks and oscillators. All 508 series products include a rugged 4-point mount crystal, ideal for low G-sensitivity military, industrial and other harsh environment applications. Each product in the new line achieves industry-leading noise performance in an extremely small 9x14 package, critical in supporting customer's increased need for portability. This product will be showcased in Hall B5, Booth 237 at electronica 2010, from November 9-12.
Just as the proliferation of mobile and handheld devices are driving consumers' increased data usage, the military is also increasing its data consumption while requiring smaller, more portable equipment. Higher mobile data consumption escalates phase noise requirements and design engineers cannot afford to sacrifice performance or reliability for size. Vectron's 508-series incorporates its leading low-jitter clocks into the industry's smallest low G-sensitivity package.
