Goulds Offers SRL Lined Slurry Pumps

(May 22, 2007 - Seneca Falls, NY USA) Goulds Pumps, one of the fluid brands of ITT Corporation, offers a complete line of elastomer lined slurry pumps for the most severe, abrasive services in the mining/mineral processing, power, chemical, and paper industries. The Model SRL is based on the original lined slurry design introduced by ITT A-C Pump nearly a century ago. Offered with a wide variety of extra thick natural and synthetic elastomer liners, the SRL will hold up to the toughest applications.

The SRL is designed for long service life with features such as large diameter shafts for lower deflection, extending MTBF. Hard Ni-Cr coated XH-800 alloy sleeves protect the shaft. Severe duty, oil lubricated bearings and housings are designed to dissipate and lower bearing temperatures for maximum wear. Suction wear plates protect the casing wear areas.

Other unique features include ceramic rubber media (CRM) liners for optimum combination of hardness and resilience. The Shearpeller(TM) impeller allows the SRL to efficiently handle stringy and froth-laden slurries.

The Goulds SRL can pump up to 20,000 GPM (4542 m3/h), attain heads to 164 Feet (50m), at temperatures up to 250° F (121° C)
