Linear Slide Rails and Carriages from Rino

Rino Industries have introduced a new range of linear slide rails and carriages into their newly launched precision engineered components catalogue.

These slide rail bearings represent the latest in sliding friction, which is low profile rail guide technology, the company states. The linear slide rails feature an extruded aluminium rail and block which is ceramic coated. The block has a Teflon® composite, self-lubricating, low friction, maintenance free liner. The slide rail's unique 45º load plane ensures high load capacity coupled with easy, quiet linear motion.

A quick synopsis of the advantages and features of these slide rails and carriages reveals that they are FDA compliant, have low friction, are wash down friendly, are tough against contamination, have rapid oscillation, have excellent shock and vibration characteristics and a smooth and quiet operation to name a few! Note that due to the differences between dimensions and rolling vs. sliding friction, these systems are not interchangeable with popular metric low profile rail guides. They are not recommended for applications where moment (overturning) loads are present.

Sizes start at slide widths of 12.70mm going up to 25.40mm. Coefficient of friction is 0.15 to 0.20 with 1000 PSI max, 10,000 PV (pressure value) max and 400 SFM (surface feet per minute) maximum speed.

Typical applications include: automation, food processing, medical, pharmaceutical and semiconductor equipment.
