Striker Sleeve is Greatest Development in Spark Lighter's History

25 January 2008

The new Striker Sleeve provides a way to consolidate and conveniently locate all the tools necessary to ignite the torch and maintain the torch tip. The sleeve can be configured for virtually all trades utilizing spark lighters. The sleeve can fit on either the single flint spark lighters or the triple.

If you manufacture and or sell spark-lighters, and you care about the safety and practicality of your product, then you need to implement the Striker Sleeve in your product line. Spark Lighters are worn on tool belts by welders, pile drivers, iron workers and other tradesmen in the construction industry. Because of the open frame design the spark lighters can get hung up or snagged on objects such as machinery or re-bar causing a fall hazard for the worker. (Falls are the number one cause of injury on job sites). One worker commented "Once on a job site my striker got caught on a grab hook on a wheel loader, when the machine took off it spun me completely around. I could have been killed or seriously injured. I now use the Striker Sleeve and I consider it standard equipment". The Striker Sleeve blocks the open frame and reduces the chance of getting hung up, thus eliminating one more fall hazard for the construction industry. From a practical standpoint, The Striker Sleeve also provides a means to consolidate and conveniently locate spare flints for the striker, and all the tools necessary to maintain the torch tip, i.e., tip cleaners, resurfacing tool, soap stone holder. This product can be configured for plumbers, welders, and virtually all tradesmen who use the striker. The Striker Sleeve is destined to be considered standard equipment for the entire spark-lighter inustry.
