Chunk and Bit Gran-U-Lizer(TM) is designed with roll corrugations that reduce granola, cookies, biscuits, and other dry products - in one pass and with minimal production of fines (dust) - to ideal size for inclusion in ice cream, yogurt, and other mix products. Designed for high-change-over operations, roller-style solution can be disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled in less than 10 min. Typical capacities range from 200-4,000 lb/hr, depending on grind size setting.

MPE Introduces the "Chunk and Bit" Gran-U-Lizer(TM)
(Chicago, IL) Modern Process Equipment Corporation (MPE) introduces the new "Chunk and Bit" Gran-U-Lizer(TM), the first Roller-Style Gran-U-Lizer designed specifically for reducing food products to the ideal size for inclusion in ice cream, yogurt and other "mix" products.
The special roll corrugations reduce the size of granola, cookies, biscuits and other dry products in a single pass with a minimal production of "fines" (dust).
Designed for high change-over operations, the Gran-U-Lizer can be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled in less than ten minutes. The design eliminates pockets and crevices that can accumulate product and provides tool-free access to all grinding areas.
Typical capacities range from 200 - 4,000 lbs/hr., depending on the grind size setting.
