New Low Cost High Performance Micro PowerDrive Controller

As the industry leader in true PC based robot controls, EPSON's RC520 and RC420 controllers are powerful, flexible and easy to use. However, after reviewing with our customers what they would like next they replied that they would like less. EPSON controllers are great for high performance and high end applications but what about simple pick and place type applications where a simple controller at a reduced price would be a much better fit. As a result of those discussions, the Micro PowerDrive Controller was created. The primary design goals were to keep as much performance as possible while at the same time significantly reducing the cost. We took our PowerDrive servo technology which provides industry leading motion performance and combined it with our proven EPSON RC+ Development Software to create a low cost, high performance controller. It is the smallest 6 axis controller on the market. But don't let it's ultra compact size fool you as it still packs quite a performance punch that allows it to be used for applications ranging from simple pick and place to more complex or motion performance intensive applications as found in the electronics and medical industries.

EPSON Micro PowerDrive High Points
  • Low Cost yet High Performance
  • Ultra Compact Size (smallest 6-axis controller in the industry)
  • Fast Robot Cycle and Program Execution Times
  • Industry Leading Ease of Use with EPSON RC+ Development Software
  • Use as Stand Alone, PLC Slave, or with PC
  • EPSON PowerDrive Servo System ensures Maximum Robot Performance
  • Fully integrated options including: Microsoft .NET support, DeviceNet, Profibus, Additional I/O and more
