The new EGM8 expands the portfolio of familiar, worldwide tried and tested single hole fixing limit switches from EUCHNER with a very small version. It is used wherever precision is required and the space available for installation is limited. The round design with M8 x 0.5 thread permits straightforward installation in the monitored location. The position of the operating point in relation to the trip dogs to be scanned can be adjusted easily and precisely with the aid of the fine thread.

The EGM8 impresses in particular with its high operating point accuracy of up to 0.01 mm and a very small differential travel of only 0.1 mm. The integrated changeover contact with snap-action function reliably conducts both low and high currents.

Thanks to its robust metal housing and the degree of protection IP65, the EGM8 operates reliably and completely maintenance-free even under the hardest ambient conditions. The EGM8 therefore represents a good alternative to conventional inductive limit switches, particularly in applications with metal chips.
