New Single-Display Controllers from Ogden Manufacturing

PITTSBURGH - August 10, 2004 - Ogden Manufacturing Co. proudly announces the introduction of two new controllers, ETR-3000 and ETR-9000, as an addition to its ETRâ„¢ family. Both controllers have dual outputs and are single display controllers designed to have a very high feature to dollar ratio. The ETR-3000 and ETR-9000 are CE, UL and CSA approved for global acceptance.

The ETR-3000 controller is a NEMA-4x rated 1/32 DIN controller. The ETR-9000, while not NEMA-4X rated, advertises an industry-leading compact design that is typical of most Ogden ETRs. By introducing these new controllers, Ogden Manufacturing strives to provide one of the most extensive and versatile line of controllers in the low-cost driven market.

The ETR-9000 & ETR-3000 belong to the "basic" family of ETR temperature controllers. While their functionality is basic, they offer a few advanced features including:

Bumpless Transfer -- allows the controller to apply a percentage of heater output when the sensor input fails.

Digital Communications -- gives the user the option to change parameters or record process trends from a remote location.

Regulated Power Supply Output - option available in 5, 12 and 20 Vdc models designed to drive various sensor transducers or transmitters.
