DVEO 's Single Channel HD-SDI Input or Output Cards to Debut at NAB Show

New Transmitter or Receiver Cards Include Support for Linux® or Windows® OS

San Diego, CA -- DVEO, the broadcast division of CMI, will demonstrate their newest HD-SDI input or output cards in Las Vegas at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show, April 20-23.

HD-SDI Master(TM) I PCIe LP is a single channel HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M) input card. HD-SDI Master(TM) O PCIe LP is a single output channel HD-SDI card. Supported standards include 1080i, 1080p, and 720p at 60 Hz and 59.94 Hz rates. Onboard DDR memory buffers data to account for latencies in data transactions on the PCIe bus. The cards include support for Linux® or Windows® OS, full DirectShow® support, and field upgradeable firmware.

The input card features automatic standards detection between 720 and 1080, automatic cable equalization, and input monitoring of CRC errors. The output card features tri-level sync input for transmit frame and rate synchronization.

"Broadcasters, production companies, and corporate media departments will use these cards for many applications, including post-processing, capturing or sending HD video, and electronic news gathering," Les Zoltan, Sales Manager for DVEO. "Our new single channel input and output cards will begin shipping in the third quarter of this year."
