Silicone Tubing from AdvantaPure® Now Stocked in 49 Sizes

Southampton, PA - AdvantaPure now offers its platinum-cured silicone tubing, called APST, in nearly 50 sizes. The wide selection-from .030" to 1.000" I.D.-is aimed at meeting the various application needs of the pharmaceutical, biomedical, biotech, chemical, food, and beverage industries.

"We understand how important it is to the customer that we have what he or she wants, on the shelf, when it's needed," notes David Schwass, AdvantaPure's Director of Sales. "That's why we stock tens of thousands of feet and so many different sizes."

AdvantaPure manufactures APST from low volatile grade, platinum-cured silicone that is certified by NSF (National Sanitation Foundation; NSF-51). The tubing is extremely flexible and offers a hardness value of 50 Shore A. It contains no animal derived ingredients and will not impart an odor or taste to products flowing within. APST has undergone extensive testing and meets standards for:

o USP including Class VI

o FDA CFR 177.2600

o ISO 10993

o European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9

o 3-A

In addition to its wide range of sizes, APST silicone tubing also offers a wide range of temperature usage-from -100°F (-73.3°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It resists compression set, chemical attack, ozone, radiation, moisture, and environmental exposure. APST may be sterilized by autoclave or gamma radiation processes. All production and packaging takes place in Class 7 (Class 10,000), ISO-certified clean rooms.

APST is documented lot traceable with identification on bags and offers documented quality control. A complete validation package is available upon request, as are custom sizes, lengths, and packaging.
