September 1, 2004 - PumpSil® platinum-cured silicon tubing features ultra-smooth bore to control protein binding. LaserTraceability™ allows tubing to be laser-marked end-to-end with part and lot numbers and use-by date, ensuring absolute traceability. Indelible fine etch is produced on surface of tube, preventing contamination from inks and other materials. PumpSil meets full quality testing standards, including USP Class VI, ISO 10993, and USDA requirements.

Watson-Marlow Bredel, the leading manufacturer of peristaltic pumps, offers PumpSil®, a platinum-cured silicon tubing with a unique LaserTraceability™ feature. Designed with an ultra-smooth bore to control protein binding, PumpSil provides optimal pump performance. With a high-level of purity and clarity, PumpSil is ideal for use in sanitary environments meeting full quality testing standards, including USP Class VI, ISO 10993 and USDA requirements.

LaserTraceability allows for the tubing to be laser-marked end-to-end with part and lot numbers and use-by date, ensuring absolute traceability. A 100-percent indelible fine etch is produced on the surface of the tube preventing contamination from inks and other materials, and has no effect on the pump life or performance of the tube.
